What to Expect

  • A Guided Day on the River

  • Basic entomology: identification, for proper fly selection
  • Stream side etiquette
  • Proper handling of and releasing fish
  • Improvement on casting technique if needed
  • A bitching stream side lunch: prepared by Scott (a former chef)
  • Different techniques of fishing, all fly patterns, nymphs, dry flys, nets and big streamers, “the big stuff”


Pricing for 1-2 People

  • 1/2 day (4 hours): $200, with meal $240
  • Full day (7-8 hours): $385, meal included
  • 3rd person $50 extra​

Getting Prepared for the Trip

  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Sunblock

  • Leaders 9-12 foot 5x
  • Rain Jacket
  • Extra shirt - “cold” after sundown, warm clothes
  • Rods 4-6wt 9ft+
  • Your own fly solution (what you don’t have I provide)

  • Please no cell phones on river, unless absolutely necessary

  • Guide trip - never cancels due to weather “unless it’s really bad out” (high wind, lightening, etc)
  • Start times of trip “vary” depending on time of season, water level, and weather conditions
